Using the above address you can search for a home that meets your needs and find further information about the available homes.

You can place bids, withdraw bids and find out how your bids are progressing.

You will be notified if anyone places a bid for your home.

What you need to bid

You will need the following details to be able to bid on a Mutual Exchange advert:

  • Your unique reference number.
  • Your memorable date
  • An active KeyChoice Mutual Exchange application.

How to bid

1. Click “Login/My Account” and enter your unique reference number and memorable date.
2. In your account summary click where it says “Mutual Exchange property: ## Eligible properties”
3. A list of Mutual Exchange adverts you are eligible for will be displayed.
4. When you find an advert you are interested in click “Apply Now” and you will be shown the property details and asked to confirm your bid.
5. You bid has now been placed.

You can only bid on Mutual Exchange adverts if you have an active Mutual Exchange application and you should only bid on adverts where the current tenant is looking for a home that matches yours.

Please bid sensibly – if you are a single person in a 1 bed flat, there is very little point in bidding to exchange with someone in a 4 bed house. As your property will most likely be too small for the other family and the landlord may not allow you to under occupy their property.

What is a bid?

A bid is an expression of interest and holds no monetary value.
